Surrounded by history and crepe myrtles, Rose Cottage Furniture & Design emerged from a beautiful 1860's homestead located in the historic district of Kennesaw, GA.

1994 brought Jean Kidd and her multiple talents to the city of Kennesaw where she continued her furniture and design business. Jean is best known for her comprehensive revitalization to the downtown area of Warm Springs, GA. She won over Kennesaw area residents with her talent, charm, and classic furniture selections.

The business enjoyed strong growth through the first two years of operation. In 1996 Jean's daughter Kathy Loyd and husband Terry moved from Savannah, GA to join the family business. As the business continued to grow strong, 1997 brought Mrs. Kidd's decision to retire and the sale of the business to her daughter and son n' law. Through Kathy and Terry's vision the business continued its strong and steady growth, while updates were not made not only to the product lines but the store itself as well. All of this growth lead to the expansion of the main building in 1998 and to the warehouse in 2000.

With over 10,000 square feet of showroom space the business experienced exponential growth over the next few years. Product lines expanded as well as the services offered. Today, Rose Cottage Furniture & Design exists as a full service furniture and design company with the capability to design and furnish your home's interior with our experience, resources, and creativity.
